A good leader
should be a good communicator. Communications occur all the time around organization. Good communicator can make the conversation
effectively in order to express his or her opinion and ideas clearly and accurately
to those people work for them. The thoughts of the leader should be clear identified to their employees offer them the right
direction. Communications happen between two or more people, as a good communication leader you can correct exchange information
and get feedback accurately.
Styles of charismatic leaders
seem not only possess a great sense of strategic vision but also master good communication skills. To inspire people, they
use colourful language and exciting metaphors and analogies. (Durbin, 2001, p.64)
Motivation
Motivation
plays another important role in the good leadership. What makes the followers of the leader keen on their job and work for
them for sure? Motivate the employees in a positive way can make them happier to work in the organization and work for their
leader. Keep them in a high mood for the long run is challenge task for all leaders. Leaders need to think and put fresh creativity
challengers in to the tasks in order to motivate their employees efficiently.
Some good leaders may act as strong achievement, passion to work beyond money and status.
Teamwork
Teamwork consider as the essential work of the good
leadership.
Become part of the team as leader him or self is
also important for both leader and workers. Good leaders realised that his or her employees are more than just employees.
Workers are people have their own needs in their own life to satisfy. The motivation can be all thoughts of things in order
to courage them work for the company and achieve the organisation goals effectively and efficiently.
Formulating a vision
Charismatic leaders are visionary
because they offer an exciting image of where the organisation is headed and how to get there. (Durbin, 2001, p.64) They usually have ability to sense the deficiencies of the existing situation and untapped opportunities.
A qualified leader should be responsible and always make right decisions especially in tough conditions. She or he is also required
to be able to solve all kinds of problems, balance relationships within the organizations and have excellent communication
skills.
A
good leader in meantime, he or she has analysis skills, desire of learning new things, strong communication ability, nature
born organization skills and hard working attitude will of course help me to be a good leader.
A
successful company leader should not only have a wide range of knowledge but also an acuminous sense of market trend and be
able to steer the company to right directions. Leadership is a combination
of talent and experience, trustworthy.
Among them Chester Bernard’s philosophy caters for my appetite most. Chester Bernard regards a
good leader as the
ability of a superior to influence the behaviour of a subordinate or group and persuade them to follow a particular course
of action (Chester Bernard, 2005). To convert his classic wisdom into a simple way, leadership is a combination of influence.
Every leader has their own way of influencing their idea and philosophy to their followers.
Sometimes, leaders no matter he or she is leading a company or even a country, they act as a catalyst and impose their influence
via some simple words and deeds to lead their organisation to make things happen. Although imposing influence seems to a common
point for all leaders, different leaders still have different ways to realise this depends on their background and conditions.
Some leaders like to get their hands dirty by participating in every detail things through which get recognized by their followers
and then lead the team to hit the target. Some other leaders prefer to build up the trustworthy within the group and help
individuals to realize their own leadership potentials.
A directive leader will emphasize
formal activities such as planning, organizing, and controlling. Accordingly, as a supportive leader, he or she always shows
in a supportive manner and concerns for group members’ well-being and fosters an emotionally supportive atmosphere in
their group. While an achievement-oriented leader will set challenging goals, raise the target bar, and expect improving performance
from their team members. A leader should have combination of these activities in order to lead his or her people well (Durbin,
2001, p. 156).
Be professional. He has to fully
understand his job and be familiar with his organisation’s tasks.
Courage
Most of the business leaders have their own courage and
vision expend their business overseas. Leaders try to things that they never done before. First try gave a goal and ambition
to rapid growth of the business.
